Measurement of Displacement: Idea and building of varied transducers to measure displacement –
piezo electrical, inductive, capacitance, resistance, ionization and picture electrical transducers, calibration procedures.
UNIT – II
MEASUREMENT OF TEMPERATURE: Classification – ranges – varied ideas of measurement –
enlargement, electrical resistance – thermister – thermocouple – pyrometers – temperature indicators.
MEASUREMENT OF PRESSURE: Models – classification – totally different ideas used. manometers, piston,
